My chemo treatment this week has gone well. I crashed after
it yesterday, but have felt good today. The steroid should wear off tomorrow,
so we’ll see how the latter part of the week goes. I’m thinking it will be
great though! No signs of neuropathy and no nausea, so yay me!
Last week, my sister Jody and great-nieces, Alia and Alaina,
came to visit, since they were on spring break. We enjoyed Mexican food and
played games all afternoon. What fun we had! And they brought me beautiful
flowers too! You just can’t beat family to keep you laughing and enjoying life.
We get meals weekly from our wonderful church family and
fill in meals from co-workers. It is so appreciated and YUM! I have been
fortunate to hear from and been visited by old friends and colleagues. Having
cancer stinks, but it does teach us to appreciate what we have and treasure the
many gifts and friendships we’ve been given. Thank you, Lord!
